  Our Struggle

In the early 1980s the Army took 243, 000 acres of public and private land in order to create the Pinon Canyon Maneuver Site. At the time it was the largest abuse of eminent domain in history.  Now they want to do it again. Their true plans are a secret, but they admit to wanting another 410,000 acres. in their initial acquisition. Leaked Army documents indication that they really want 2.5 million acres. The entire southeast comer of the state.
